I'm Keresha, a grandmother, a mother to one beautiful daughter, and the founder of Chasker.
I was born in Jamaica, where dogs were always a part of life. They roamed freely, and as a child, I loved playing with them. When I came to the United States at age 7, I always dreamed of having a dog of my own, until 1990, when everything changed. Walking home from school, I was attacked by a stray dog. That experience left me with a lasting fear that I carry with me to this day.
Even so, my family and friends have always had dogs, and I've never let my fear get in the way of loving them from a safe distance. Over the years, one conversation kept coming up: "My dog is eating too much. They're always bloated and passing gas."
That got me curious. I started researching, and Chasker was born.
Where Passion Meets Purpose
I combined my love of ceramics with my joy of eating and a deep care for the well-being of pets to design a slow-feeder bowl that's as beautiful as it is functional. Chasker launched in January 2024, and while the journey has been tough, I am not giving up.
Every bowl is made with intention: to slow down mealtime, reduce bloating, and bring a little more joy to your pet's day and yours.
